Manager Sales

Job Overview

As a Manager of Sales in the solar industry, you will be responsible for driving sales initiatives, developing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our solar solutions business. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of solar technologies. You will work closely with the sales team, customers, and other stakeholders to achieve revenue targets and promote our solar solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for solar products and services.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and surpass individual and collective sales goals. Provide guidance and support in developing sales skills and product knowledge.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  4. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Utilize this information to adjust sales strategies and identify potential areas for growth.
  5. Proposal Development: Collaborate with the technical team to create compelling and customized proposals for clients. Ensure proposals align with client needs and project requirements.
  6. Contract Negotiation: Participate in contract negotiations, working closely with legal and management teams to finalize mutually beneficial agreements.
  7. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses. Present findings to the management team to facilitate informed decision-making.
  8. Customer Education: Educate clients on the benefits of solar solutions, addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Provide technical information in a clear and accessible manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in engineering – preferably in Electrical/Electronics
  • 3 year’s experience in the same field
  • Good communication skills
